Position Summary:

This position provides the overall effective negotiation, execution and management of contracts which includes risk management, compliance and dispute resolution.

Primary Position Duties:

  • Build and maintain solid relationships with clients.
  • Review and evaluation of RFQ proposals and provide contractual input.
  • Negotiation, review and administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide insight and training to field personnel on provisions of executed contracts.
  • Assist in the recognition, writing and negotiating of change orders, amendments and addendums which provide maximum company protection and growth.
  • Compile, monitor, review and track project work orders.
  • Compose company process and procedure documents and provide effective training and development of field personnel.
  • Assist in contract and subcontract dispute resolution with legal, minimizing potential liability and claims.
  • Spend time with the Project Field Teams to build relationships and provide assistance with contractual field items.
  • Work with corporate legal to effectively review contract proposals prior to execution with a thorough understanding of telecommunications commercial terms and contractual compliance.
  • Work effectively with Senior Management and Legal on contract negotiations. Identify and resolve non-standard terms and conditions.
  • Tackle company contractual matters and provide and drive effective solutions.
  • Support business case development for opportunities deemed strategic to National
  • Work collaboratively with National leadership, Construction operations, Preconstruction, Engineering, Finance to structure deals that deliver value to our customers.
  • Maintain and update general contract forms: Master Service Agreement (MSA) for clients, MSA for subcontractors, Non-disclosure Agreements (NDA), Statement of Work (SOW)

Position Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.
  • However, there may be times that will require the employee to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to dust, fluctuating temperatures, and periodic high noise levels.
  • The employee may be required to travel within the United States up to 25% of the time and may be required to stay away from home up to 7 days at a time.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.

Education or Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, engineering or related field master’s degree is advantageous.
  • High-level of analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Thorough understanding and usage of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to work well with people as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • This position requires at least 20 years of Telecommunications experience as well as a minimum of 15 years of effective contracts management experience.
  • Ability to think strategically while also operating tactically.
  • Proven ability to drive sales process to a close must be motivated by closing deals.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
