Greenville operation named a Gold Cup of Safe Digging honoree on National 811 Day
GREENVILLE, Tx. — Sept. 1, 2026 — National OnDemand, Inc., a national provider of telecommunications and utility infrastructure construction services, has been recognized by Atmos Energy with The Gold Cup of Safe Digging, an award presented to excavating contractors with outstanding damage-prevention records in the communities Atmos Energy serves.
National OnDemand’s Greenville, Texas operation was one of 33 honorees selected across Atmos Energy’s eight-state service territory, and one of only five recognized in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Atmos Energy announced the awards in conjunction with National 811 Day, observed annually on August 11 to promote safe digging practices.

Atmos Energy has presented the Gold Cup of Safe Digging since 2024 to excavators who demonstrate sustained, disciplined performance in protecting underground infrastructure. The utility identifies damage to its pipelines from excavation as a primary safety risk across its network — making the contractors working near those facilities a direct line of defense.
For National OnDemand, the award reflects a standard applied on every job site. Locating, verifying, and respecting buried utilities is built into how work is planned and executed in the field, and it is measured the same way production is measured.
